What is Swift?
Swift is the pioneering new Microwave Therapy for skin and soft tissue lesions. With treatment in just seconds, Swift used Microwave energy which is delivered through a special probe applied to the skin to treat the affected tissue.
Does Swift Hurt?
Some minor discomfort may be experienced which can be expected when treating skin lesions. Pain levels will vary from patient to patient but most people who have used swift compare pain similar to an injection or a sharp scratch which usually last a couple of seconds then will quickly subside.
How many treatments will I need?
This will Depend on how you respond to treatment. Treatments maybe be from 14 days to over a month apart depending on how you respond to swift. You can discuss this with your podiatrist at your consultation.
Can anyone receive this treatment?
An assessment and full medical history will be taken prior treatment by your podiatrist. With a few exception, most people with skin lesions would be able to have this treatment. You should talk to your podiatrist if you are eligible for treatment.
